Diamonds grown in the laboratory are more sophisticated and accessible than anything we get using traditional mining methods. In our laboratory, we reproduce the natural process of terrestrial crystallization of carbon into single crystals of diamonds, which are chemically, optically and physically identical to diamonds mined on earth, but have a price up to 40% lower.

We produce a large assortment of flawless type IIa diamonds grown in the laboratory. This is the purest form of diamond, which makes them brighter and harder than 98% of the diamonds mined on earth. Type IIa diamonds are the rarest type of diamond on earth.

The diamonds of Syntechno are manufactured using HPHT advanced technology from diamonds of impeccable quality produced in our laboratory, clean with IF, transparent D, ideally cut and up to 10 carats in size.
Naturally mined diamonds are mainly made of pure carbon. But many diamonds contain traces of impurities, such as nitrogen or boron, that are acquired during the formation process. Those diamonds that contain little or no impurities are diamonds of type IIa. Less than 2% of diamonds mined are type IIa and, therefore, are the purest and rarest form of diamonds. Some of the well-known large Type IIa diamonds are Krupp Diamond, Cullinan, Koh-i-noor and Lesedi La Rona.
